Anushka Srivastava – Chef & Founder, Fiori Artisanal
Hi there!
My journey with food started long before Fiori Artisanal ever existed. From a young age, I found comfort in the kitchen—it always felt like home, a place where I truly belonged. That early love for the culinary arts eventually led me to pursue a BA (Hons.) in International Culinary Arts from
IMI International Management Institute, Switzerland. Over the course of four enriching years, I explored diverse facets of the hospitality world and completed industrial trainings across the globe. I had the opportunity to work with renowned hospitality brands like Marriott International, Walt Disney World, and Sandals Resorts and Spa—experiences that broadened my perspective and deepened my connection to the industry.
Like many, the pandemic was a turning point. At the end of my final training program, the world came to a standstill. With so many career paths to choose from, I took that moment to pause and reflect on what I truly wanted. I’ve always known I wanted to start a food business—just didn’t expect it to happen so soon! In many ways, COVID expedited that dream, nudging me to take the leap.
That leap became Fiori Artisanal.
What began as a passion project quickly grew into something more purposeful. My vision for Fiori was guided by a desire to move away from just novelty and indulgence, and toward sustainability, climate consciousness, and celebrating local, seasonal ingredients. I wanted to redefine decadence—making it feel good and do good.
In the early days, the concept of Fiori wasn’t crystal clear, but over time, through consistent eco-conscious practices, mindful sourcing, and a commitment to culinary integrity, the brand began to take shape. It almost felt like joining a little cult of conscious creation—haha! But truly, this ethos is something I believe in deeply, and I dream of building a community that shares these values.
Of course, like any growing brand, we face our fair share of challenges. But every bit of love and support we receive—no matter how big or small—fuels our belief that we’re on the right path.
Outside of work, you’ll find me geeking out over indigenous ingredients, artisanal recipes, and global chefs creating impact through food. And naturally, cooking to my heart’s content! My life revolves around food, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
At Fiori, we may bake cakes for a living, but it’s so much more than that. We’re here to tell a story—one of flavor, integrity, and impact—and we’re so glad you’re here to be part of it.
